Causes of Back Pain...
The causes of back pain can vary from person to person. One of the first things to ask yourself is have you ever been involved in any trauma or slip and falls? Now this doesn't have to be anything that put you in the hospital. It can range anywhere from a car accident to a hard bump to the head while doing some work around the house to your kids jumping on you while goofing around.
Many times patients do not relate to when their back pain started. This is where Dr. Augustine has to play Sherlock Holmes. He does this by getting you to really think about the source of your pain. In order to find the cause of your back pain, it may involve getting some x-rays, or possible MRI.
Don't forget that back pain can be genetic as well. So some people can go ahead and blame their parents. One of the more common complaints for kids and teenagers is
scoliosis.
The most common causes of back pain involves an injury to an area of the back or neck that no treatment was started. Maybe the pain only lasted a few days or you just dealt with the pain. Or even that your a male and hate going to doctors until the day you can't golf or hunt. You get the picture. But while you continue to ignore the pain (your body's warning system) the problem continues to get worse and worse. Long term, this leads to degenerative changes that are often irreversible.
